ECO AND CONSERVATION CLUB

The Eco & Conservation Club undertook a series of engaging activities designed to nurture environmental awareness, creativity, and a sense of responsibility towards nature. The activities explored key themes including Earth conservation, sustainable living, biodiversity, wildlife, food chains& food webs, ecosystems, water conservation and the importance of trees and small creatures. Students participated in creative tasks such as charts, models, comparative displays, water-cycle diagram and nature-themed writing, while also learning about migratory birds, traditional water-conservation practices and the role of bees, butterflies, and earthworms in maintaining healthy ecosystems. These experiences encouraged students to connect classroom learning with the natural world and understand how every living organism is interconnected.

Health & Wellness Club

The Health & Wellness Club successfully conducted a range of engaging activities focusing on physical, mental, emotional and digital well-being. The activities included personal hygiene and handwashing, dental hygiene and proper brushing techniques, as well as awareness about adolescent health, puberty, menstrual health, self-care and substance-abuse prevention. Students also participated in yoga, stretching and breathing exercises, promoting relaxation, flexibility, concentration and stress management. The programme further addressed digital well-being, including screen-time control, mobile and online-game addiction, cyberbullying, cyber safety and cyber-security awareness. The thoughtfully designed activities also encouraged students to understand the benefits and responsible use of Artificial Intelligence, helping them develop healthy habits, confidence, awareness and responsible behaviour in everyday life.

ELECTORAL AND INTEGRITY CLUB

The Club aims to sensitize students to become informed, responsible and active citizens who understand the value of every vote and the importance of maintaining integrity in the electoral process.

Students participated in various activities organised by the club to develop awareness about elections, voting, democracy and responsible citizenship. They learned about the EVM (Electronic Voting Machine), voting age, basic voting rules, the role and functions of the Election Commission of India. Students also discussed the importance of voting and the responsibilities of citizens in a democracy. Through posters, slogans, charts, role plays and classroom discussions, they explored voter awareness and the importance of making informed choices. The Activities also focused on responsible use of media, identifying reliable information and understanding how misinformation can affect public opinion.

The Yuva and Interact Club

The Yuva and Interact Club activities were conducted with the aim of developing patriotism, cultural awareness, creativity, social responsibility and leadership qualities among students. The activities provided opportunities to explore India’s rich heritage, including local folk art, traditional crafts, heritage sites and the importance of preserving our cultural legacy. Students were also introduced to research work and charts on responsible tourism, including eco-tourism, spiritual tourism, heritage visits and the role of local communities and artisans. Creative activities such as best-out-of-waste, food and festival themes, study on work of local craftsmen encouraged appreciation of India’s diverse traditions. Activities related to National Integrity and Unity highlighted “Unity in Diversity,” national symbols, Indian culture, folk traditions and the importance of respecting different languages, customs and communities.

SCHOOL CLUBS

The Motto of the school is to provide a nourishing environment to the young talents and give them necessary thrust towards enhancing scholastic as well as co – scholastic skills. In pursuance of this objective, the school has set up Clubs such as Eco &Conservation Club, Health & Wellness Club, Electoral &Integrity Club,Yuva & Interact Club. Each Club functions according to its planned schedule to generate curiosity, cultivate moral & civic sense, incorporate social skills & sensitize them towards conservation of the environment .

ECO AND CONSERVATION CLUB

The Eco Club asserts the importance of ‘Learning to live sustainably’ by empowering students to take up meaningful activities and projects related to conservation. The school has its Mission Statement – Reduce, Recycle, Reuse and Replenish. Children are active ‘ECO WARRIORS’ leaving no stone unturned to send a strong eco message to the community .In accordance the following activities were conducted.

The month of April was celebrated as ‘Earth Day’and this was observed by creating awareness from class Nursery to X in the form of Collage-making and Poster Making on ‘Save Earth’, Crafting paper bags to promote eco-friendliness,Creating Earth Day garlands to advocate a pollution-free environment,Slogan writing on ‘Save Earth’, Poster-making on ‘Save the Planet’,planting three herbs and composting.
In the month of June & July the importance of World Environment Day which was celebrated on 5th June 2025 was highlighted through several hands on activities like preparation of charts on clean energy ,making best out of waste products using eco friendly material,flow charts on land degradation and measures taken to restore the same,Awareness charts and poetry on ‘Save the Roar’,National Animal Tiger and identification of major tiger reserves in the political map of India .
The theme of August month was ‘Energy conservation’ which saw children elucidating measures to save energy in school,charts on renewable energy,review of quarterly electricity bill and water usage audit coupled with case study research on sustainable development.
In October, students from Classes VI to X focused on the theme of flower reuse and eco-friendly practices. They learnt how flowers wasted during festival celebrations can be reused for decorations and composting. These activities promoted awareness about reducing floral waste and encouraged sustainable celebrations.
In November, students from Classes VI to X concentrated on understanding air pollution. They learnt to differentiate between smoke, fog and smog, studied the causes and effects of smog and analyzed its impact on cities. Students also suggested measures through charts to reduce pollution and spread awareness about maintaining clean air.
During December, students from Classes VI to X focused on saving paper and recycling. They created notebooks and chart papers from old and unused paper and understood the process of making paper pulp. These activities encouraged them to reduce paper usage and adopt eco-friendly habits in their daily lives.

Electoral and Integrity Club

The Club plays a pivotal role in making students understand the importance of fair elections, ethical leadership, and civic responsibility.

In the month of April, the club conducted activities on the working of democratic government .A few to mention, Poster Making on Importance of Voting, Role Play on Panchayat Election Procedure, Election Process at District, State and National Level, Awareness posters on Registration Process for Eligible Voters and Case Study on Federal and Unitary Form of Government.

In the month of June and July under the theme ‘National Symbols’, the club conducted activities on drawing and colouring the Indian National flag,elucidating the importance of Ashoka Chakra ,history & significance of Ashoka pillar, writing and translating the national song &national anthem.August saw the theme of Civic sense vibrant with colourful thought provoking posters on civic sense in public places,roads and environment.The icing to the cake was group discussions on ‘Fundamental Duties and Rights of a Citizen’by the tenth graders.

Students of Classes VI to X actively participated in activities promoting unity, democratic values, constitutional awareness and civic responsibility through creative and analytical learning.

In October, students observed National Unity Day through posters, skits, role plays and rallies promoting unity and national integration. They also participated in parliamentary role plays and awareness programs on democratic processes, helping them understand participation and collective responsibility.

In November, students observed Constitution Day of India through activities focused on constitutional values and democratic principles. They created charts, projects and research on representatives and the contributions of B. R. Ambedkar, emphasizing equality, justice and the importance of the Constitution in maintaining national integrity.

During December, students engaged in role plays, web charts and poster-making on topics like government structure, Question Hour and Cabinet Ministers. They also analyzed political party manifestos to understand electoral processes and democratic decision-making, enhancing awareness of governance and active civic participation.

Health & Wellness Club

The Health Club promotes healthy living- physical, emotional, mental, social & spiritual well being among the children. Students have undertaken several activities to foster integrated growth of mind & body:

Under the Health and Wellness club, activities for the month of April had been aligned with CBSE Directives to educate students about the Risks of Excessive Sugar Intake. Accordingly, students of Std. IX and X researched and prepared presentation on healthy alternatives to Refined Sugar and the health risks related to excessive sugar consumption. Under the theme ‘Nutrition, Food and Health’ students of class VI to VIII , had prepared nutritious delicacies using sprouts as main ingredients, made charts on Balanced Diet and pictorially represented health hazards associated with junk food.

Under the theme ‘Yoga and Health’in the month of June&July the Health and Wellness club, undertook activities which enlightened children about different yoga postures simple to complex from Pranayam, Surya namaskar, Padmasana, Bhujangasana ,facial yoga and meditation. This objective was achieved in the form of research based charts prepared by teams of children.August month was an awareness programme in the form of poster making by all classes on adulteration in various food products and its impact on health.

As October set in, students from Classes VI to X participated in activities focused on mental wellbeing and discipline. They learnt to control temptations, developed healthy reading habits, understood the importance of early sleeping and built self-confidence through positive affirmations.

In November, students from Classes VI to X engaged in activities like poster making emphasizing eye care and healthy habits. They strengthened routines like proper sleep and reading, created awareness about reducing screen exposure and practiced personal hygiene. Students also studied nutrition for eye health and enhanced their understanding of eye protection and common eye defects.

During December, students from Classes VI to X focused on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and overall wellbeing. They continued practicing good habits, emphasized personal hygiene and daily routines and discussed balanced diets and important health tips. Students also explored obesity prevention and highlighted the importance of stress management and healthy living through charts.

The Yuva and Interact Club

The Yuva and Interact Club kick-started the new academic session with a series of vibrant and educational activities held throughout April. Aimed at promoting cultural awareness, creativity and research skills, students from Classes VI to X participated enthusiastically in various class-specific tasks.

Honouring the cultural and spiritual essence of the World’s religious gatherings a Collage Making on Maha Kumbh Mela, Article writing on the significance and celebration time of Kumbh Mela, artefacts on the palaces and forts of Rajasthan, research and report on UNESCO Heritage sites of India, chart making on the topic- Protect the Taj Mahal were conducted.This created a cultural awareness,developed creativity and a penchant for learning and knowing the rich heritage of the world and our motherland ‘India’.

Under the theme ‘Vocal for Local’,in the month of June and July activities like Charts on Local handicrafts of India, making of doormats or bags from old clothes, research on products made or grown in India was initiated by the club.

Furthermore to encourage Indian Tourism , the club activity in the month of August involved preparation of charts on thane temples, two monuments of India, report on architectural marvel of Meenakshi Temple etc.

The installation ceremony of the Interact club was held on 21st of July 2025.Students were appointed as Interact club office bearers by the Inner Wheel Rotary Club of Thane Lake City,

Std VII – Students made Posters on the topic ‘Connect with Nature’ using natural colours from leaves, twigs, flowers etc, made Collages depicting how ‘Urbanisation, Industrialisation & Other human activities are causing harm to the environment’, ‘Food Preparation without the use of Fire’ & made ‘Decorative Gift Wrapping Papers’ using old newspapers & notebook pages .

Std VIII – Students made Greeting Cards using old decorative objects & Charts on ‘Reasons for Land Degradation & Measures Taken for its Restorations’, ‘Monitoring the Energy Conservation’ at home & bringing it down by adopting effective measures & ‘Suggesting Measures for Eco- Friendly Celebrations’.

Std IX & X – Students moulded Decorative Items from Paper Mache made from waste papers, made ‘Flannel Board’ using old clothes, cardboard etc, ‘Eco friendly Bricks’, ‘Lanterns & Torans’ using old CDs, batteries, pens, empty cans etc, Planted Vegetables & Herbs in pots to make a Kitchen Garden, made Charts on ‘Sustainable Measures for a Safe Environment’, ‘Project Tiger’ & ‘Eco friendly Homes of India’.

YUVA & HERITAGE CLUB

The Club encourages and nurtures to develop young ambassadors to promote the rich cultural tapestry of Indian history & nurture patriotism amongst students by indulging them in several related hands on projects and celebration of important days through various activities for Std VI to X:

Std VI – Students made Wheel & Illustrative charts on ‘How the sun is the source of energy for plants, animals and human beings’, ‘Borne diseases caused during monsoon & its precautions’, ‘Waterborne Diseases caused during Monsoons & their Precautions’, ‘Benefits of Yoga Asanas’, ‘Balanced Diet’ & ‘Celebrations and Health Hazards linked to them’.

INTERACT CLUB

The Installation Ceremony of the Interact Club was held on 20.06.2024 . Students are members of Interact Club, sponsored by Rotary Club of Thane, Lake City.

A Vocational Guidance Program is being organized every year for parents & students of Std X.

In addition the school also conducts a comprehensive Aptitude Test for the students of Std X every year to provide them inputs for the choice of stream & to choose suitable career paths aligned with their abilities.

SCHOOL CLUBS

The Motto of the school is to provide a platform to the young talents and sensitize them towards environment, health and hygiene, cultivate moral and civic sense during Social and Community work and be vigilant about the current social issues. In pursuance of this objective, the school has set up Clubs such as Conservation Club, Health Club, Integrity Club, Interact Club & Disaster Management Committee. Each Club functions according to its planned schedule.

CONSERVATION CLUB

The Conservation Club asserts the importance of ‘Learning to live sustainably’ by empowering students to take up meaningful activities and projects related to conservation. The school has its Mission Statement – Reduce, Recycle, Reuse and Replenish. In accordance, the following activities were conducted:

Std VI – Children made posters & charts with their thumb impression promising to save Earth, ‘Bio Reserves of India’ & ‘Important Plant Species of India’.
Std VII – Students made logo/posters on the topic Connect with nature using leaves, twigs, flowers etc & made charts on ‘Types of Forests in India their Importance’ & ‘Medicinal Plants’.
Std VIII – Students made hanging pots from plastic bottles & made charts on ‘ National Bird – Peacock’, providing information on cultural significance & community efforts in protecting and conserving them. Students also made ‘Manure in Compost Tumbler’.
Std IX – Students made accordion on ‘ Ways to reduce Carbon Footprints’, Charts on ‘Endangered Birds of India’ – Sparrows, Great Indian Bustard, Forest Owlet, Sociable lapwing, Bengal Florican & Research on ‘ Types of Trees being Cut for Making Tissue Papers’.
Std X – Students made Collage with newspaper reports and pictures on ‘How Mother Earth is reacting to destruction by human beings’ & Charts on ‘State Animals and Efforts taken by States to conserve them’ –

YUVA & INTEGRITY CLUB

The Club works to imbibe values of integrity, patriotism and honesty amongst students by indulging them in several related activities and celebration of important days through various activities for Std VI to X:

Std VI – Collage on UNESCO Heritage Sites of India making charts giving information on any five ‘Historical Caves of India’ & Charts on ‘Values Enshrined in the Preamble of the Constitution’.
Std VII – Information on UNESCO, Reasons for certain monuments being included in UNESCO Heritage Sites & Informative Charts on ‘Caves of India’ & ‘Fundamental Rights of Indian Citizens’.
Std VIII – Calendar making with pictures & information of UNESCO Heritage Sites & pamphlet making on ‘Forts of Thane’ & Informative Charts on ‘Duties of Citizens for their Country’.
Std IX & X – Heritage Walk of Thane – A Photo Gallery on Structural Heritage Sites of Thane, & Cultural Heritage of Thane, Preparing Itinerary on any of the two ‘Tourist Places of India’ & Informative Charts on ‘Importance of Indian Constitution’.

HEALTH & SCIENCE CLUB

The Health Club promotes healthy living among the students thereby giving them a chance of self-expression and independent research. Students have undertaken several activities to foster integrated growth of mind & body:

Std VI & VII – Poster Designing on ‘Water for Healthy Life’, Chart Making on ‘Benefits of Drinking Water’, ‘Junk Food & its Negative Impact on our Health’, ‘Healthy & Unhealthy Food Habits’ & Collage making on various Fitness activities ( Games & Exercises)
Std VIII – Salad Making and Informative Chart Making on ‘Fruits and Vegetables with high water content to be consumed during summers’ & a wheel chart on different ‘Asanas, their Names and Benefits’ & Illustrative Charts on ‘Harmful & Poisonous Food Items in Our Plate’.
Std IX & X – Tabular Chart Explaining ‘How, When and in what quantity water should be consumed’, Making of a human figure with pointers explaining benefits of drinking water on each organ of the body & Recipe Chart of a fast food using healthy ingredients & Charts on ‘Healthy Lifestyle to be Adopted During the Exam Period’.

INTERACT CLUB

The Installation Ceremony of the Interact Club was held on 03.08.2023. Students are members of Interact Club, sponsored by Rotary Club of Thane, Lake City.

A Vocational Guidance Program is being organized every year for students of Std X followed by an Aptitude Test to provide them inputs about their skills in subject specific areas. It is followed by One to One Counseling Session with respective Parents and students for choosing their appropriate career.

As a part of Annual Pedagogy, the school implemented skill based learning integrated with the Interact Club. A group of students of Std VIII visited a local artisan in Ovala, Thane on 17. 01.2024. They interacted and learnt the skills of sculpture making.

SCHOOL HOUSES

Children possess a unique combination of multiple intelligence and the School tries to give them opportunities to explore their latent talents and skills. There are FOUR HOUSES in the school – RUBY, EMERALD, SAPPHIRE AND TOPAZ.

CLUB ACTIVITIES

The School firmly believes that Co-Curricular activities supplement the academic curriculum to develop creative and collaborative skills of our students. The school has set up four clubs namely Conservation Club, Integrity Club, Health Club and Interact Club. Each Club functions according to its planned schedule.

CONSERVATION CLUB

Following are the activities taken up for the academic year 2022 – 2023:

EARTH DAY

To celebrate Earth Day on 22nd April 2022, the Club observed Earth Day week from 18th April to 23rd April 2022. Children from Std VI to X participated enthusiastically and also delivered speeches. A melodious song on the need of environmental monitoring was rendered.

Following class wise activities were organised:

Std VI & VII – Bookmark Making or Card Making by reusing old newspapers on the topic ‘Green Planet’ & Pictorial Chart making with information on ‘How to Keep Water Clean and Safe during Monsoons’ or Collage making on ‘Endangered Aquatic Species & Extinct Aquatic Animals and Pamphlet making on ‘Ways to Reduce Pollution’ .

Std VIII & IX – Slogan writing or Poster Making on ‘Our Planet Has No Alternative’, ‘Energy Resources’ & Preparing an Accordion on ‘ Methods of Irrigation’.

Std IX & X – Hand paint a T-shirt or a Bag on the topic – ‘Save Earth’, Article writing on – ‘Think globally, act locally’& Count your Footprint and Suggest ways to ‘Save Water and List the Total Amount of Water Usage for a Day’, or Chart Making on the topic ‘Rain Water Harvesting’.

HEALTH CLUB

The Health Club creates awareness among students for maintenance of good physical and mental health. Students are sensitized regarding health, nutrition and maintenance of a healthy lifestyle through the following activities:

Std VI & VII – Collage making on ‘Importance of Yoga and Meditation’, Chart Making on the topic ‘Eating Healthy and Nutrition during Monsoon’ & Write ups on a positive message giving ‘Mental Health Awareness’..

Std VIII & IX – Health Card Making representing various Asanas, Poster Making on ‘Monsoon Health Care Tips’ & Do’s and Don’ts to reduce Mental Stress.

Std X – Article Writing/ Poster Making on ‘Need of Healthier Life’ & Making Art Journal on ‘Medicinal Herbs’.

INTEGRITY CLUB

The Club works to imbibe values of integrity, patriotism and honesty amongst students by celebrating the important National – International Events & Commemorating National Heroes.

Std VI & VII – A study on Konark Temple in Odisha, Representation of its location, its cultural significance and sticking pictures & writing a Short Poem or Paragraph on Kargil Warriors with pictures, writing Poems and slogans on Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav or Collage on National Leaders and Chart making on ‘Instances on How Consumers are Cheated along with Pictures’.

Std VIII – Collecting brief information on the mountain Railways of India and making an accordian & Pictorial chart on Quit India Movement depicting the course of movement, Role of Gandhiji and significance, making Accordion on ‘Achievements of India in the field of Science, Space and Agriculture’ and Writing Jingles to create awareness on Consumer Rights.

Std IX & X – Research and collecting information about the steps taken by the Government to conserve National Parks and represented five National Parks and Bird Sanctuary on the political map of India , Poster Making on ‘Tribute to Kargil Warriors’, Significance and Consequences of Kargil War & Collecting information on unsung Heroes & Chart making on ‘Achievements in the field of Art and Culture’ & ‘Revival of Ancient Indian Achievements in Science, Medical and Literary Field’ and Chart / Poster Making on ‘Consumer Rights’.

INTERACT CLUB

The installation ceremony of the Interact Club was held on 21.07.22. A workshop on ‘Eco Friendly Ganesha’ for Interact Club members of Std VIII and IX on the 23rd of August 2022.

The club organised a Workshop on Career Guidance for the students & parents of Std X on 26.08.22 & 27. 08.22 respectively. Rotarian J.B Kabra was the resource person. It was designed to assist students & parents in better career decision making by identifying their potential. It was followed by an Aptitude Test for the students of Std X on 28.08.2022. A follow up One to One Counseling Session with respective parent and student for choosing appropriate career & to provide them inputs about their skills in subject specific areas was conducted on 17.12.2022.

INTER HOUSE COMPETITIONS

The Inter House activities inculcate the spirit of healthy competition among students within school.There are four Houses in the school – Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire and Topaz. To provide a platform to students to participate & represent individually or in a team with the aim of raising self esteem, developing self-confidence and giving opportunities for leadership and teamwork, various competitions are held round the year.

ART AND LITERARY

Elocution Competitionfor Std VI & VII was conducted on 23. 06. 22. It was adjudged by Mrs. Chandramala Pradhan (M.A & Mphil Sociology) & Mr. Rakesh Junagade (Diploma and B.E in Mechanical Engineering)

Display Board Competition for Std VIII, IX & Std X was held on 6. 07.22. Judges for the event were Mrs. Pushpa Thakur and Mr. Sachin More.

Extempore Competition was conducted for Std VIII & IX on 22. 07.22 & for Std X on 23.07.22. The judges for the event were Mrs.Lekha Jaydeep Joshi (BHMS) & Mr. Anand Lakshmanan (PGDBA) for Std VIII , IX & Mrs. Satyajodha S. Kaushik (B.Sc, M.Sc & B.Ed) & Dr. Poornima Mahesh (B. Tech, M.Tech & Ph.D) for Std X.

Patriotic Song Competition for Std VI & VII was held on 29.07.22. It was judged by Mrs. Prajakta Malkhedkar and Mrs. Papia Sur (M.A Music & Sangeet Visharad)

Value Based Miming for Std VI & VII was conducted on 18.08.22. It was adjudged by Mrs. Uma Ganesh (M.com, B.Ed) & Mrs. Manisha Dhapre ( Coordinator, Pre Primary section)

Hindi Elocution Competition for the students of Std VI & VII was conducted on 10.09.2022. It was adjudged by Mrs. Preeti Kesharwani (M.A in Social Science) & Mrs. Atima Trivedi, the School Resource Person.

Quiz Competition for Std. X and Std VIII & IX was conducted on 23.9.2022 & 29.9.22 respectively.

CLUB ACTIVITIES

The School Clubs function with the overt aim to develop the imaginative faculties of students by encouraging them to give free expression to their ideas through various creative forms. The school has set up four clubs namely Conservation Club, Integrity Club, Health Club and Interact Club. The scheduled activities of the clubs are planned to augment the output of the members of the club and thereby impart these values to the student community as a whole.

CONSERVATION CLUB ACTIVITIES

Conservation of nature connects us to the world around us, teaching us about both natural and built environments. The club raises awareness of issues impacting the environment upon which we all depend, as well as actions we can take to improve and sustain it. The school has its Mission Statement – Reduce, Recycle, Reuse and Replenish. The club celebrated Earth Day and World Environment Day on 22nd April 2021 & 5th June 2021 respectively. Following activities were organized on the theme of Conservation of Earth, Water and Energy Resources :

Std VI & VII – Poster making on ‘Green Planet’, Card making by reusing old newspapers, Chart making on ‘ How to keep the water for regular use, clean and safe during monsoon’ and Pamphlet making on ‘Ways to reduce pollution’ .

Std VIII & IX – Slogan writing on ‘Save our Planet’, Survey on neighbourhood flora and fauna and representing it in a flip book, Scrapbook making on ‘Methods of Irrigation’ and Poster making on ‘ Conservation of natural resources’

Std X – Hand paint a T- shirt on the topic ‘Save Earth’, Article writing on ‘Think globally, act locally’, Counting Water Footprint and suggesting ways to save water.

TREE PLANTATION DRIVE

Our students of Std VI to IX, under the CBSE initiative, enthusiastically participated in a ‘Tree Plantation Drive’ conducted on 6th and 7th February, 2022. The aim of the campaign was to direct students in constructive activities to facilitate contributing to the society. Students along with their family members and friends planted the saplings in the vicinity, nearby parks, local areas and their balcony gardens. A total of 180 saplings were planted. Such small yet effective steps taken together by the school and students will surely help in fostering strong social health amongst today’s children by connecting with their peers, their elders, their community and their environment.

JOIN HANDS TO SAVE NATURE

Our students of Std I to Std V have actively taken charge of the green brigade of saving and nurturing the environment. Global awareness is the key to taking positive environmental action to protect nature and the planet earth. Hence the Project – ‘Join Hands To Save Environment’ was carried out in the month of February, 2022 through various activities as follows:

In advocacy of the idea, ‘Act before it vanishes’, the students practiced the pragmatic concept of ‘Learning by Doing’ by crafting reusable, recyclable and waste products to make paper bags, & bird feeders. Reusable materials like coir, bottles, terracotta products, ice-cream sticks were used by students to make these feeders. Our students extensively researched and collected data on Pollution and wastage of Water due to our negligent attitude towards natural resources.

INTEGRITY CLUB

INTEGRITY CLUB ACTIVITIES

Integrity is our ability to act in ways consistent with the values, beliefs, and moral principles we claim to hold.The club works to inculcate and foster the values of honesty, patriotism, respect, responsibility and adhering societal norms by celebrating the important National & International Events.

The following activities were conducted on the theme of ‘World Heritage Day’ and 79 years of ‘Quit India Movement’:

Std VI & VII – ‘Understanding Heritage’, a pictorial representation of any one Heritage site of India with brief information & slogan writing.

VIII – Pictographic illustration with information on any one Heritage sites from the neighbouring countries and steps to protect Heritage sites & Collage making on ‘Quit India Movement’.

IX & X – Pictographic illustration with information on any one Heritage sites from the neighbouring countries and steps to protect Heritage sites & Article writing on ‘The significance and impact of Quit India Movement in relevance with today’s time.’

HEALTH CLUB ACTIVITIES

The School health club is a vehicle that empowers pupils to play an active role in deciding and implementing issues related to student’s physical health and wellbeing. The Club also affords the pupils the opportunity to become ‘Agents of Change’ who carry home and translate into action healthy habits and information they learn at school.

Std VI & VII – Collage making or Book mark making on the topic ‘Yoga for health, Yoga at home’. Poster making on ‘Any two diseases common during monsoons, its effect on health and its preventive measures.’ and Chart making on mental health of children and remedies for it.

Std VIII & IX – Health card making representing Height, Weight, Blood group, BMI, List of Vaccines taken, Intake of water per day & Average steps per day and collage making on ‘Ways to battle the season of allergies (monsoons)’ and Album making or Scrap book on ‘Ways to attain good mental health’ OR ‘Key components of mental health’.

Std X – Article writing or Poster making on ‘Building a fairer, healthier world’ or ‘Importance of physical activity and exercise during Covid-19 pandemic’ and chart making on Covid 19 vaccines and its types or contributions of healthcare workers during the pandemic’.

The club organised a Virtual Career Guidance session for the students of Std X on 9th August, 2021. Rotarian J.B Kabra was the resource person. The aim was to help students make more informed educational and career choices and to support the learners to explore different career options, analyze their interests and fortify their strengths

The Inter House activities give all students the opportunity to participate in various co curricular activities with the aim of raising self esteem, developing self-confidence and giving opportunities for leadership and teamwork beyond those already available within school. The School has four Houses namely – Topaz, Ruby, Emerald & Sapphire.

In the Primary Section following online competitions were conducted for the students:
English Recitation, Hindi Recitation, Fancy Dress and Poster making.

Following Online Competitions were organized for the students of Secondary Section:
English Elocution Competition, Solo Dance (Semi Classical), Debate, Patriotic Song Competition & Newspaper Designing. The competitions were adjudged by following eminent parent judges as well as outside judges:
