From the Principal’s Desk
“Albert Einstein said ‘Learning is experience. Everything else is just information.”
Lok Puram Public School has been nurturing young minds of Thane for the past 28 years. We live today in a world that is changing at a fast pace. In accordance with the changing trends our school has a well-balanced academic curriculum along with a wide range of co–curricular activities to empower students face the challenges of life and grow as all-rounders. Children, who walk into the portals of our school, are encouraged to explore their potential and achieve perfection in all areas.
Apart from striving for advancement in academics, the school also nurtures students with good attitude, values and sensitivity towards the environment by maintaining a perfect balance in academics and extra-curricular activities. In our quest for excellence, we integrate technology in education, engage students to imagine, observe and research through Annual Exhibitions, Field Trips, Projects, Club Activities etc. Beside this, students are given ample opportunities to prove their edge by participating in various Inter House and Inter School Competitions.
The school is known for qualified and dedicated teaching faculty who with personal touch strive to imbibe Values and Life Skills in students which leads them to become well-adjusted personalities.
We have even faced this pandemic with our resilience and optimistic approach. The school team stood strong and united during COVID-19 and ensured to provide online learning accessible to all the students. The teachers like frontline warriors successfully took up the task of virtual classroom teaching equipped with changing technology. Apart from academics , students were also engaged in small group activities from time to time in the virtual school.
Lok Puram Public School believes in Community Services and encourages Parental Participation in all its endeavors. We truly value the continued support and co-operation of all our parents and stakeholders in this unprecedented and challenging time. I also appreciate our students for their fortitude and perseverance in such unusual circumstances.
As well said by Helen Keller: ‘Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.’
With the blessings of God Almighty, we look forward to achieve many milestones with the support of all our stakeholders.
With Prayers and Best Wishes to All
