ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATION 2018-19

Lok Puram Public School celebrated 25th Annual day and Prize Distribution Ceremonies of Secondary Section, Primary Section and Pre-Primary section on  4th December 2018, 17th January 2019 and 7th February 2019 respectively at Kashinath Gadkari Rangayatan, Thane with great zeal and enthusiasm. The events were adorned by Members of  Management, Mrs.Rajniben Gandhi- Chairperson, Lok Foundations, Ms. Naina ben Shah and  Shri. Bhupat Rai Mehta- Trustees Lok Foundations, Mrs. Umaben Muchala- Member Governing Council, Lok Foundations & Shri  Ramesh Vora- Administrator,  Lok Foundations.

With divine blessings of Goddess Saraswati,  Secondary Section programme set forth with the presentation of Annual Report by  Principal, Dr. Lipika Chandra. She highlighted the AISSE Results, achievements, accomplishments and the goals set and achieved by the school.

Thereafter, the meritorious students of Std X were felicitated along with School Toppers, Subject Toppers and outstanding achievers in sports and co-curricular activities. The success of students was highly applauded. Setting the tempo and mood of festivity and celebration, the cultural show ‘Santulan’ unfolded in all its grandeur. The theme revolved around balancing various aspects of life, right from the tussle of nature and human being triumphant and being defeated, prioritising between work and religion and managing anger and being patient, through different values which wove an intricate bonding between the mind and soul. Nature in all its form is benefactor was exemplified through various dance forms. Students put their best foot forward as the guests were enthralled. It was a spectacular show of assimilation of our cultural values.

In Primary Section, Headmistress Mrs. Deepa Bhattacharya presented the Annual Report. Thereafter, students of I to III performed the Cultural Show ‘Nature’s Reflection’ conveying the message of environmental conservation through beautiful dances and skits. Students of Std IV &V presented the show ’Namami Gange’ as a tribute to holy river Ganga. In a colourful blend of performances, the little ones highlighted the significance of saving river Ganga from pollution. All the shows were spectacular and won applaud and appreciation of the audience.
